Project Baseline Vancouver Island team has been actively engaged in underwater exploration, documentation and conservation since 2016. The project continues to expand documenting and monitoring could sponge reefs and historical shipwrecks surrounding Vancouver Island and the waters of southern British Columbia, Canada.
Project Baseline Vancouver Island has consistently engaged local community through lake clean ups and removal of ghost gear from local waters.
The team currently collaborates with local governing bodies such as Capital Regional District of Southern Vancouver Island and the Underwater Archeology Society of British Columbia.
HOW TO SUBMIT DATA
There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
