This project is managed by a group of GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) divers affiliated with BAUE (Bay Area Underwater Explorers) who adhere to the principles of conservation, preservation and documentation set forth by Project Baseline. The project's objective is to document, monitor and help understand the changes to the Monterey Bay marine area.

There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
