Our teams constitute the foundation of Project Baseline’s mission. They’re typically, but not all, advanced scuba divers who have organized themselves into groups that focus at least part of their normal diving activities on the repeated documentation of the underwater environments they frequently explore. Most of our teams work independently meaning that they identify target sites and stations and develop project objectives on their own. We encourage all of our teams to take their projects to a higher level by identifying other organizations working to understand, restore, or protect their chosen underwater environments, and developing opportunities to collaborate with those entities to further those efforts.

There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
