The Marmara region is quite a large area, which connects via the Aegean to the eastern Mediterranean.  This area is very important to the local fishing and tourism industry, and is home to an endemic coral species, which is bleaching.  The sites we will monitor are also frequently visited by divers from Istanbul.  It is threatened by garbage, pollution, and increasing water acidity.  We plan to collect imagery, temperature, horizontal visibility, and species density.

There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
