PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Lake Champlain Vermont contains wrecks from the 18th, 19th, and 20th century. Several of the 1800 era wrecks located in Lake Champlain are part of the Lake Champlain Underwater Preserve system. The wrecks are buoyed during the months of May to November and accessible to many divers. Depths range from approximately 35 feet to 100 feet in depth. The invasive Zebra Mussel is a major problem for underwater features in Lake Champlain. Additionally, due to many sources, visibility is also a concern. The goal of this project will be to document any changes in the wrecks as recorded by photographs and also record visibility to help track changes in the lake.

HOW TO SUBMIT DATA

There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
