This project documents the current condition and dimensions of the SS Islander wreck itself, records the fish species which use the wreck for habitation, and includes a nearby station to measure visibility. Additionally, we will attempt to approximate the number of divers visiting the site. This wreck is a very popular dive site and is historically significant, as it represents the heyday of gilded age tourism on the river and the dawn of the St. Lawrence as a travel destination.

There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
