Kalkbruchsee Luneburg
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The quarry has a long history in the small town Luneburg. Lime has been mined here since 1900 and the lake was closed for a while due to poor water quality. Today it is used by a fishing club and is open to a small number of divers. The aim is to document visibility, temperature and water quality. As the lake has a thick layer of sulphur at 20m, this is also the focus of observation.
HOW TO SUBMIT DATA
There are two ways to submit data to the Project Baseline database. You can submit data for existing projects, and you can submit data for projects that are not currently hosted (ad-hoc) in the database.
