This paper aims to present the results of a pilot study conducted in the context of the Research Project ‘‘The needs of older people with mental health problems’’ developed under the Doctoral Program in Gerontology and Geriatrics in the Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute, University of Oporto/Aveiro, Portugal.
