I personally think the writing is stronger than the graphics but I did enjoy on many occasions how the writing was incorporated into the graphics. Both Bandolier and Steele are drawn to a tavern in the Midwest called The Green Woman. My story, The Brood of Desire, is the first comic strip to be included within a Curious Tales anthology, so I thought I would list my favourite graphic novels that exemplify the uncanny sensibility.
