The result is a clear exposition of Romans, explaining what it meant in its first-century setting and what it means today. There are also some very good analyses of synonyms throughout. "Greek-English Lexicon" by Liddell & Scott. That in itself is strong evidence that Paul is still speaking of New Testament apostles and prophets. I won’t always be able to read the section in the book that I want to, but since there are so many commentaries out there, I will generally still be able to find what I’m looking for in a number of commentaries.
